#NationalPizzaDay
February 9th is a big day for New Haven, a time-honored holiday of sorts. National Pizza Day, our favorite day of the year, is fast approaching. As a city known for our apizza, we celebrate accordingly. Here’s where we’ll be on February 9th:
BAR: Serving up fresh brick oven pizza with a side of cold beer and dancing, BAR offers four varieties of base pies, with your choice of any toppings from mushrooms and jalapeno, to brisket and mashed potato.
Pizza at the Brick Oven: First opened in 1999, this New Haven spot serves thin crust, hand tossed pies, and offers a pizza, wings, and soda combo for those looking to feed a big group.
Zeneli Pizzeria & Cucina Napoletana: Zeneli plates pies rooted in Italian tradition, offering every kind of classic pie, from Margherita to Napoletana, and more unique creations like their Calzone Napoletano, made with fresh ricotta and prosciutto cotto.
If you’re looking to make it a pizza crawl, be sure to stop by New Haven’s “Holy Trinity” of pizza, Pepe’s, Sally’s & Modern.
