In New Haven, foodies of all ages frequent restaurants of all ages, with new dining hubs opening across The Elm City each year. Our city invented the hamburger sandwhich and its own style of pizza, and as long as people stay hungry, we’ll stay innovative. One of the newest restaurants to enter the New Haven dining scene is Hot Murga, the city’s first Indian fried hot chicken outpost. Inspired by Nashville’s hot chicken and amplified with a kick of Indian spice, Hot Murga fries up 100% certified Halal chicken with heat options ranging from no heat to super hot, warning customers to “get ready to crow.” Can you take the heat?
