Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
MNHI PLAYED A VITAL ROLE THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC, IMPLEMENTING A MULTI-TACTICAL APPROACH TO SHARING AND AMPLIFYING RELEVANT PUBLIC HEALTH, CITY, STAKEHOLDER AND CONSTITUENT INFORMATION. LEVERAGING THE INFO NEW HAVEN DIGITAL CHANNELS, MNHI WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE THE PUBLIC WITH COMPREHENSIVE, UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ON THE STATUS OF DOWNTOWN SMALL BUSINESSES.
A SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT WAS MADE IN DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING A COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR DOWNTOWN RESTAURANTS, RETAILERS, AND OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES WHICH REMAINED OPEN THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC. TOGETHER WITH OUR PARTNERS AT TOWN GREEN AND UNIVERSITY PROPERTIES, A SERIES OF PROMOTIONAL ACTIVATIONS WERE LAUNCHED, WITHIN THE STATE’S COVID-19 GUIDELINES, TO RESPONSIBLY STIMULATE SPENDING. A GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN WAS ALSO DEVELOPED TO PROVIDE VISITORS WITH GUIDELINES FOR VISITING DOWNTOWN NEW HAVEN.
TODAY AND BEYOND, MNHI’S WORK CONTINUES TO RAISE AWARENESS OF DOWNTOWN’S SMALL BUSINESSES. THE ORGANIZATION’S WORK WILL BE AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT FOR POST-PANDEMIC RECOVERY EFFORTS. SPECIAL THANKS TO YALE UNIVERSITY AND YALE NEW HAVEN HEALTH FOR MAKING THIS WORK POSSIBLE.
