Eden, January 16 – February 8: This work takes place in 1927 on a six-block stretch of Manhattan called San Juan Hill. The show explores deep tensions between the Black Americans and Caribbean immigrants who reside in the neighborhood, following a pair of young lovers whose star-crossed romance puts the entire community in danger.
The Inspector, March 7-29: Newly adapted and directed by Yura Kordonsky, this show follows a town at odds with an undercover inspector, a representation “of a community desperate for a better life and a farce exposing the absurd lengths to which they go in its pursuit.”
